Child to Parent Abuse – Awareness and Practice

A hard-hitting, thought provoking and professionally challenging session on child to parent abuse. Blended learning sees trainees undertake a mix of e-learning and live teaching sessions. These interactive sessions are designed to aid the individual to upskill their practice, encourage professional curiosity and improve effectiveness.

This session looks at the risk factors, barriers, facts and myths associated with this form of domestic abuse. With numerous case studies, group activities, discussions, reflections and next steps forming the basis of this training, it is certainly a programme that will help develop and promote the skills needed to work with parents, carers and guardians.

Is aimed at those with some knowledge of domestic abuse who want to further their awareness and develop best practice tools.
